Northampton is best known for it’s academic, artistic, musical and political community organizations, shoppes and centers.

Nestled in the Connecticut River valley at the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, Northampton offers access to a multitude of outdoor pursuits as well as a thriving cultural scene and a scenic and walkable downtown.
The downtown area of Northampton brings a very lively and upbeat vibe to the town offering locals eclectic shoppes, a variety of restaurants and vibrant entertainment in a historical town setting.
Northampton has a total population of 28,483 residents. There are a variety of options for outdoor recreational activities such as biking and walking trails. Residents frequently visit the well known Look Park, which covers over 150 acres of recreational space. Also conveniently placed in the town is the Cooley Dickinson Hospital which is an affiliate of Mass General.
Another local point of interest is the women founded, Smith College, and its enchanting Botanical Garden. The garden and greenhouse features a gorgeous collection of trees, shrubs, and plants as well as a collection of plants from the tropics, semitropics, and desert regions.
